This year’s theme is “40 Years and Counting… Down to 2015″ in honour of Brampton’s 40th
anniversary as a city. Festivities include headlining act, Juno Award-winning Arkells along with an
open-air skating rink, midway amusements and marshmallow roasting, all leading up to a spectacular
fireworks display above the Rose Theatre at midnight.

The City of Toronto is proud to host New Year’s Eve celebrations on Nathan Phillips Square. A
tradition going back forty years which brings the City of Toronto together to launch a new year. The
evening will showcase Toronto musical talent, street and atmospheric performers, food trucks, and
have the crowd dancing to a local DJ. The skating rink will be open and a spectacular fireworks
display choreographed to music will be the highlight of the event.
